Today's Sermonette

And, yea, I read today from the Gospel of Funk, as dictated by the prophet Bootsy, in the year 2006 A.G. (After the Groove). And so it is written "yea, shake that thing, and your ass will guide you to the promised land." And so were the masses of our land brought into the light of the everlasting Funk. And yet it is also written "thou cannot getteth down unless you giveth it up", a lesson forgotten by many of our fellow babies. For it is only by abandoning all to the beat that we may fully enter unto the Groove. And to get the Funk one must follow the Groove. Can I get a "Hail Bootsy" from the congregation! Now, please don your spandex prayer vestments and turn your hymnals to number 73, "Turn That Mother Out"...
