Studying the Economics of Detroit
It's probably slightly premature to post about this, but I've pulled my first Detroit-specific datasets off the Bureau of Labor Statistics website (I love the BLS...), specifically employment totals for the last 17 (local Detroit) and 24 (Metropolitan Statistical Area) years. I'm working on getting Google Chart functionality working, so watch this space for nifty graphs comparing Detroit, Metro Detroit, and US employment data, hopefully by the weekend.
Oh, yeah, I also got the urban CPI data.
